Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Bar Council of India registration and valid license to practice law in Mumbai, India.
- 2-3 years of experience practicing law in the Mumbai Metropolitan Magistrate’s court across Mumbai.

Job Description:
RKS Associate, a prominent law firm based in Mumbai, is seeking an experienced and skilled Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience practicing law in the Bombay High Court and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation matters in the Bombay High Court and the NCLT, including drafting and filing suits, petitions, applications, written statements, and evidences.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various matters pertaining to the Company’s Act, Contract Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), and other relevant statutes.
- Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and other legal documents as required.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and ensure effective representation.
- Stay updated on legal developments, amendments, and case laws relevant to the areas of practice.
- Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
- Assist senior lawyers and partners in complex cases and legal matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience practicing law in the Bombay High Court and the NCLT.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
